Salame Savino is a traditional Italian salami, typical of the province of Cremona and some neighboring areas of Lombardy. It is a high-quality product, known for its intense taste and compact yet soft texture. It is mainly made with selected pork meat, using lean cuts such as the shoulder and thigh, together with a small part of hard fat, often obtained from the back of the animal. The meat is coarsely ground, giving the salami a rustic texture. We suggest accompanying it with rustic bread, aged cheeses, and a glass of red wine.
