A wine with a typical strong personality, which will evolve at its best after one year in the bottle. With a medium intensity colour, it reveals very strong, complex and varied aromas. In the mouth, it is broad, enveloping, with great finesse, good structure and balanced acidity. The grapes grow around the Barthenau estate at an altitude of 450 m above sea level. The ideal location of this high hill vineyard, with optimal sunshine and good ventilation, ripens the grapes to perfection. Warm days and cool nights ensure the right acidity for wine ageing.
