‘La Gioconda’ first appeared on April 6th 2016 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the restaurant ‘Da Vittorio’. A dream that started in Bergamo in 1966. A tale of courage and passion, the result of the foresight of Vittorio Cerea and his wife Gioconda. Together they have built up a couple, or rather a family, that has been able to look beyond the norm, drawing new horizons in catering and creating a timeless style. Hard work and constant commitment, but also great joy and happiness. Today ‘Da Vittorio’ stands for Made in Italy, for the combination of rigour and tradition with creativity and innovation. Just as a maestro takes care of his orchestra, so Mamma Gioconda, known by everyone as Signora Bruna, directs the daily work with wisdom and sweetness, in the ever-present memory of her husband Vittorio. To her, and to her extraordinary ability to keep the family together, her children – Chicco, Francesco, Barbara, Bobo and Rossella – have dedicated an exclusive and special cake. ‘Da Vittorio’ is a love story come true.
