Crunchy and light, it is excellent with cold appetizers, but also as a substitute for bread in a light unconventional lunch. A perfect match even with any spreadable cream, such as hummus or with vegetables, cheese and cold cuts.


Guttiau bread

Typical Sardinian bread obtained from Carasau bread. It is made of durum wheat semolina, water, salt and oil. The term ‘guttiau’, i.e. ‘dripped’, derives from the fact that it is seasoned with a drizzle of oil and salt. It is a product with a long shelf-life.
