Capichera Isola dei Nuraghi

This is the estate’s iconic wine, first produced in 1980. It was born from the intuition of being able to obtain, from the Vermentino grapes – Capichera’s most beloved – a wine capable of competing with the great international whites. The best bunches of these grapes are turned into a unique and distinctive wine, elegant and with a strong personality.
The name Capichera, from the Latin ‘caput erat– it was the capital’, is the ancient name of the family estate.

• Colour: straw yellow with golden reflections
• Nose: opens rich and complex with wildflowers, hawthorn, wisteria, rosemary, thyme, lavender, yellow-fleshed fruit and flint.
• Taste: dry, lively, full and enveloping, with fruity and aromatic pulp. The finish is long and persistent with rich mineral sapidity and elegant fullness.
