Curtefranca Corte del Lupo Bianco Azienda Agricola Ca’ del Bosco 2021

Chardonnay 80%, Pinot Blanc 20%.
The ‘Corte del Lupo Bianco’ is made from grapes from 13 vineyards whose exposure, clones and age guarantee the potential in breadth and integrity of a white wine in the Ca’ del Bosco style. A perfect combination: the fragrant fruit of Chardonnay and the elegance of Pinot Blanc. In accordance with the Ca’ del Bosco Method, the grapes, harvested by hand in small crates, are promptly codified and cooled in cold rooms. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands, and then benefits from our exclusive ‘bunch spa’: a special process of washing and whirlpooling the bunches, using three soaking tubs and a system for complete drying. Only the best first-portion must gives birth to this wine, of which about 1/4 is vinified in small oak barrels used the previous year for Chardonnay. The remaining portion is vinified in steel tanks. After 8 months of ageing on its own lees, without malolactic fermentation, the two fractions are blended; the wine is then bottled naturally by gravity. Thanks to innovative ‘long-tube’ taps, the wine rises from the bottom of the bottle without lamination or shaking and does not suffer any oxidative shock. No sulphites are added at this stage, guaranteeing integrity and wholesomeness. Finally, each packaged bottle is uniquely marked to ensure traceability.
